About
Hyrule Dixcovery Journey
The vast land of Hyrule shows various expressions... From beautiful scenery with nature to hidden regions, as well as colorful people and enemies that habit there. Let's take a look at some of the tourist spots in Hyrule you'll definitely want to visit. Even if you've travelled through Hyrule before, there might be some discoveries you haven't seen.
Hyrule Discovery Journey VOL. 01
A frozen mountain district stretches out.
A world of silvery white.
Hebra
Explore a world of silvery white
The northern part of Hebra is a region surrounded by harsh wilderness with snow-capped mountains.
It is a place of high elevations and sub-zero temperatures, so be sure you're prepared for the cold.
Snowscapes as far as the eye can see
The largest snowfield in Hyrule. The snowy landscape on a clear day is enough to take your breath away.
Panoramic view from the summit
The four peaks of the Hebra Mountains. The highest peak, Hebra East Summit, is recommended for its spectacular view.
The beautiful view from the mountaintop on a clear day will reinvigorate you.
Warm up in the three secret hot springs
There's nothing like soaking yourself in the three secret hot springs secluded in Hebra to recover after being out in the freezing temperatures.
Enjoy the view all to yourself
Sherfin's Secret Hot Spring is located to the west of Hebra North Summit, on the edge of Hyrule. There's an amazing view overlooking the great mountains, and on a clear night you can enjoy a moonlit bath.
See the culture of the Rito
The bird-like Rito. Due to their lives flying freely in the sky, they've developed a unique culture that makes the most of their characteristics.
From the design of their village, to the style of their combat and their tools made out of feathers, you'll be able to glimpse the traditions and skills unique to this race living in Hebra.
Explore the fascinating history still lying undisturbed
Since Hebra is covered in snow and difficult for people to visit, there are still a number of ancient ruins lying undisturbed.
Visiting the ruins while thinking about ancient times is one of the best ways to enjoy Hebra.
Endless Guardians block your way in a mysterious temple
In Tanagar Canyon which separates Hebra from central Hyrule, there's a hidden Forgotten Temple.
Even now there are countless Guardians roaming this temple. It is considered to be a facility related to the hero.
What to do when you have no chance against a Guardian?
Countless Guardians roam the Forgotten Temple even now. By holding your shield up at the right moment, you can reflect the rain of powerful lasers coming at you from all directions. If you're confident in your skills, maybe you can have some fun seeing how many you can reflect in a row?
Introducing some activities specific to the snowy Hebra region. You'll want to give them a try, even if it means a little detour.
Snowball Bowling
Snowball Bowling - Roll a snowball and try to knock over pins. According to Pondo, the guide, the moment when all the pins fall at once is an amazing feeling.
Perhaps because of the harsh environment with blizzards and freezing temperatures, Hebra is home to many formidable enemies. So it's perfect to challenge your abilities.
Frost Talus
In Coldsnap Hollow, near Hebra East Summit, lives an ice monster called Frost Talus. It's whole body is made of ice, so not only will you freeze if you touch it, but it's tough body is resistant to attacks making it a tough enemy. However, it does seem to have a weakness with heat.
Key Point
Build bonfires in advance, and each time Frost Talus touches one it will get knocked down. This will give you more chances to aim for it's weakspot, giving you an advantage.
One of the appeals of Hebra is the cuisine that can only be tasted in this region, using plenty of ingredients you can only find in the cold. Among them, dishes using the valuable Hearty Salmon and desserts made with the wildberries that grow in Hebra are exquisite
Specialities of Hebra
Animals thriving in the severe environment of Hebra with extremely cold temperatures, have undergone peculiar evolution.
White Pigeon, white as snow, Snowcoat Fox, with beautiful blue hair, and Cold-Footed Wolf, with a bluish tone - perhaps they have colours similar to snow or ice, so that they can hide from their predators.
Tabantha Moose, originally from Tabantha, and Great-Horned Rhinoceros, adapted to snowy mountains, among others, might attack you using their impressive horns as weapons, so you have to be careful when watching them.
In Tabantha Tundra and Sturnida Secret Hot Spring, the fearsome predator, the Grizzlemaw Bear, has been sighted.
