Product Description

The Balti originates from Baltistan in Northern Pakistan. Our cast iron balti dish features a flat base for use on the hob. It can also be used under the grill or in the oven. As the name suggests, it’s perfect for cooking aromatic curry dishes. But be creative – there’s so much more you can do with it.

Cleaning and Care

• Dishwasher-safe.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or metal, harsh abrasive or very stiff cleaning pads or brushes on any of the surfaces.
• Do not use on microwave.
• Do not pre-heat a pan on high temperatures. 
• Wipe any leftovers off the base and sides of the product. If there's food stuck on, fill the product with warm, soapy water and let it soak for 15 to 20 minutes before washing as usual. 
• Wait for your product to cool down before you start cleaning it. 

Before First Use 

• Remove all packaging materials including labels (stickers Le Creuset).
• Wash your Le Creuset product in warm, soapy water; then rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Dry well after washing and store in a dry place.
